Wheaton Park and Nature Notebook Day 2015-2016

WHEN: Wednesdays (see below for specific dates), 9 am to 1pm
WHERE: Wheaton Regional Park – we will meet at the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center
Please remember to bring your lunch and watercolor supplies (see below)

We will be using John Muir Laws free curriculum Opening the World Through Nature Journaling. You do not need to print this out, but it is lovely and available for free!

Required Supplies:
a water brush (OR water, a bowl/cup, and a watercolor brush)
paper towel or scrap of cloth
watercolor paint palette
Nature Notebook (watercolor paper book) -one that lays flat is best
Lunch to eat outside.

John Muir Laws gives step-by-step instructions for making your own palette (including specific paint colors) HERE. This is not required; you may use a store-bought watercolor palette if you prefer.
