Every year that I’ve known Kent, we’ve joined his parents on their annual “Fall Foliage” drive to Vermont. This year we stayed at a lovely Bed & Breakfast in Ludlow, Vermont, turning the trip into a two-day affair so that we could squeeze in a few more sights.
After our customary stop at the Yankee Candle Factory, we stopped in to a butterfly house with thousands of butterflies (and a few birds and other fun things).
This is at the Bed and Breakfast in Vermont.
Then we drove up Okemo Mountain, which was AWESOME!!! It was actually my favorite part of the whole trip.
Everett loves to jump and bounce, so Kent was jumping on this huge rock with Everett in the backpack. You can’t really see his face, but Everett was squealing with laughter.
No trip to Vermont would be complete without a stop at the Vermont Country Store.
Believe it or not, this is the bicycle that Kent rode when he was about Adele’s age. Of course, Kent’s parents kept it in perfect condition after all these years, so after a little tune-up, it was ready for Adele to give it a spin. She did great, but it was just a little bit too big for her. It’ll be perfect next year!
And, Kent got to take a ride on the Harley with Grandy!
